CBS coming to Joost / BBC to open tv archive online

Two news items that caught my attention on the net recently.

CBS has signed a deal with Joost to make top current and classic programming available for free, to our viewers and the BBC is to open up its vast archive of video and audio in an on-demand trial.

People, mark my word.  With DVR’s and On-Demand programming, the way we watch TV has changed forever.

Last night my wife and I watched something called "Live TV".  Basically, this involved not having any control over what was being shown, and being forced to endure something called "advertisements".  Quite a horrific experience.  We are never going to do this again.

there are so many good web tv services out there… there’s also ways for you to watch Live TV with control over the vast content from all over the work. take for example viewmy.tv, you can be both active or passive in tv viewing, best features are of course member only but that’s free
